I think this is one of the simplest layouts I've ever designed. The only thing I did in Photoshop was the main image and the small background tile. The majority of this design is CSS. I like how it turned out, sort of official-looking - perhaps a bit too simple? - but after making three designs in a row featuring the Galaxy's Child Artbook, I'm a bit Aquarian Age'd out.

The image came from Aethereality Gallery, but other than that I used no third party resources - except for the tiny decoration above the word 'summer', which came from Elijahelectra. This layout uses the font Palatino, which I suspect can be downloaded from DaFont.

To use this layout, first download the file and unzip using WinZip or a similar program. Then, open index.html in a text editor and edit between the markers in the code saying <!--CONTENT HERE--> and stuff like that. This layout requires some knowledge of HTML so it's not recommended for beginners.

• if you're displaying an avatar or something on your page, you may want to have a nice little border around it, which you can make by classing the image as "border".
• if you put any more than 8 links in the top section it may overflow into the site title section. If you need more links, I suggest you just delete the navigation all together and put a section for navigation up the top of the content.
• try not to have a site title that's too long, otherwise the title box would go on forever or line break and that would look ugly. If your site title is too long, you can adjust the title font size (not recommended unless you know what you're doing) or just have 'Summer Adventure' (the name of the layout).
• depending on how long your site title is, the content may look too short. If this happens, you could just adjust the width of the content in by editing the CSS (again, not recommended).

If you use this layout you MUST keep a credits section linking to me on every page. I have placed my link up the top and down the bottom of the layout, but you can just have one if you like. Don't steal the layout or extras or pretend you made them. Please don't steal or copy the source code/CSS, in part or whole, as it was written in NotePad and is entirely copyright. If you use the extras outside this design please give credit where appropriate.
